Chelsea Official Transfer Rumour thread

Post by Monsterman on Tue Jul 17, 2012 10:50 pm

Sky Sports News understands Chelsea have agreed a £25million deal in principle to sign Brazil international Oscar. The European champions have been chasing the Internacional star for several months, while Tottenham also wanted the 20- year-old.
Chelsea were said to have failed in a previous £20m bid for Oscar, but are now understood to have succeeded with an improved offer. A transfer could now be finalised, despite the playmaker's agent having previously claimed a move to Stamford Bridge was looking increasingly uncertain. Oscar is expected to arrive in the United Kingdom on Tuesday with the Brazilian Olympic team.
The youngster, capped six times for his country, is regarded as one of the best young talents in Brazil.

Chelsea sign Salifu

Post by playkidmicheal on Fri Jul 20, 2012 11:25 am

SuperSport.com understands that Caf Champions League campaigners Berekum Chelsea have agreed terms with Liberty Professionals hotshot Latif Salifu.

The diminutive striker was the object of both Hearts of Oak and Medeama to land the Liberty Professionals star, who wants to play for trophies. Felix Ansong and Emmanuel Kyeremeh, the respective chief executives of Liberty and Chelsea met in Accra on Thursday to finalize the deal.

The former Ghana Under-20 star saw Chelsea put in a formal bid to upend those of Hearts and Medeama. Although the Phobians wanted to double the offer Chelsea presented, it did not materialize and the player also is reported to have been lured by the promises of consistent Champions League football.

The 21-year-old scored seven times for the Dansoman-based side last season.

Daniel Adjei too?

Liberty's Daniel Agyei is attracted by the prospect of trophies as Premier League champions Kotoko bear down on him. The 22-year-old has been at Liberty for the past four seasons and wants a new challenge.

"Every player wants to win silverware," he told SuperSport.com. "I think I have paid my dues and that is why I am now speaking about these talks between Kotoko and Liberty."

Earlier this week, the national team goalkeeper expressed delight at the chance of playing for Kotoko, telling local radio that he looked forward to the deal being done in as short a time as possible. Agyei has been at Liberty for the past four seasons and the under 20 World Cup winner, like Latif Salifu, is also attracted by the lure of continental football. "At the moment the big teams have become serious with the Champions League and Confederations Cup and I want to be part of it," he told SuperSport.com

His club, Liberty, have failed to land anywhere near Ghana's Champions League or Confederations' Cup places for almost a decade and he is being realistic about the team's prospects.

"I want to be sure that I can advance in my career and I am not one to look at Europe as my salvation. Ghana is a good place to make my career too so there is no problem."

Hulk

Post by playkidmicheal on Fri Jul 20, 2012 8:54 pm

Hulk doesn't have any chance of coming to Chelsea because his club won't leave him but we should consider Victor Moses the owner of Wigan wants to give him out to Chelsea

I don't agree on Hulk's club manger not ready to let him leave the club. See his club and wants a certain amount of fee which Abramovich, I would say he his not willing to pay such for him.

For Victor, let him go to Arsenal he would just wast his time and talent in Chelsea. At least in Arsenal he would play.

Chelsea complete Oscar signing

Chelsea have completed the signing of midfielder Oscar from Internacional, the Premier League club announced on Wednesday.
No details have been released regarding the player's transfer fee or contract, but reports indicated that the playmaker would cost around 25 million pounds.

Oscar is representing Brazil at the Olympic Games and played in their pre-tournament warm-up against Great Britain.Saluting

The 20-year-old is Chelsea's fourth signing in the off-season, joining Marko Marin and brothers Eden and Thorgan Hazard at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar joined Internacional from Sao Paulo in 2010 and has won the Campeonato Gaucho state championship twice with the Porto Alegre-based side.

He scored 13 goals in 44 matches in all competitions last season and has found the net six times in 20 appearances during the current campaign.
